Is your Manuscript ready for early readers? Get the inside scoop on how I use Beta Readers. What are they? What’s their job? How do you find them?
And as an added bonus, I’m giving you the exact questions I asked my Beta Readers for The West Woods, Book 2 in my award winning The Fountain Series. You can use these questions with your own Beta Readers, or tweak them to make them your own.

Hey, Suzy, that was awesome! 🥳🥳🥳 It was a great first topic, and the example you used was very effective. You have such a wonderful energy about you!
One interesting thing…I don’t know how youtube channels work – thought you’d be interested to hear that all the suggested videos youtube put on the sidebar were religious sermons! From your video I could click over to a variety of sermons, and I’m wondering if your videos appear in the sidebars of other “inspirational” (religious) videos in turn? Are there trigger words that will cause your video to appear on the sidebar of writing videos, instead? I don’t know how that works, or whether it matters, but I just wanted to bring it up, just in case it’s a marketing concern. Something to be aware of.🤓
Anyhoo…I learned from your break-up scene example and had a good laugh at the same time. I love your stuff. Put my name down if you need a writing partner to bounce chapters off of – or to alpha or beta read. 😊

Haha! Awesome Nita! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! And that’s hilarious! I actually didn’t put any tags into YouTube because I thought it would just play on my site (it’s unlisted in YouTube) so I’m interested to understand how you viewed it! I think I can fix this by putting in YouTube tags, but I hope the religious content was at least inspirational!! 😂
I super appreciate your support, and glad you enjoyed my stories! Things we can laugh about after the fact… 😍
You rock Suzy! This so helpful. I’m going to pass it along to my closet-novel-writing friend. Keep this up.
I found this very helpful and fun to watch! Great tips but I watched all the way to the end and never saw the link to the exact questions? Regardless, thank you so much for the inspiration! R.
Rebecca, the link is in the post accompanying the video… 🙂
